Eclipse’s award-winning experience of providing innovative perimeter security solutions has helped secure a major project combining CCTV and radar.

Working with L3Harris, Eclipse has once again demonstrated its expertise by installing an integrated security system bringing together radar and CCTV to protect a Critical National Infrastructure site against intruders.

The system uses cutting edge technology to integrate it into the site’s existing security management system.

The site, providing the first line of defence for the United Kingdom, has historically been a target for demonstrators with the intention of causing disruption to critical operations.

The location, size and the environment all presented unique challenges, but working as a tripartite partnership between Eclipse, L3Harris and the client, the project has been an outstanding success helping to provide an early warning to any potential issues.

Daren Wood, Eclipse’s head of sales and marketing, said: “This project has been a great journey for Eclipse and has demonstrated the technical expertise that exists within the company.

“The tender process was particularly challenging which, due to the nature of the site, is understandable. It is really gratifying to see the project being rolled out knowing that we’re playing our part in protecting the nation.”

Devising and installing perimeter security system solutions at Critical National Infrastructure sites is one of many services Eclipse can provide.
